Deposit and balance

Holiday bookings run from a Saturday to a Saturday only.

Deposits need to be made in £Sterling by cheque. 25% deposit and balance 8 weeks before letting date.

Please make your cheque payable to Susan Macnair at “Nitchevo”, Wellington Road, St Saviour, Jersey, JE2 7TH.

The receipt by me of this deposit is taken as an indication that you accept the prices and terms outlined.

The full amount of your accommodation charges less deposit should be received by me not later than 8 weeks before the start of your holiday, to ensure that your reservation is secured.

Arrival: After 3 p.m on the day of arrival.
Departure: By 12 noon on day of departure.

Note: You may be able to gain access earlier – please check with owner a few days prior to arrival.


Cancellations

If you cancel or shorten your holiday less than 6 weeks prior to the start of your holiday, the full amount of the original booking will be due. If you cancel your holiday after sending the deposit but before the due date for full payment, the deposit will be retained to cover costs.

A refundable security deposit of £100 is payable with the final remittance. We reserve the right to deduct from this deposit the cost of any losses/breakages/damage which may occur during the rental period, together with any additional cleaning charges resulting from the accommodation being vacated in an unreasonable condition. In normal circumstances, assuming no deductions are required, the deposit will be returned to you by cheque within 14 days of the end of the rental period.

For your comfort and the comfort of others “La Retraite” is non-smoking. You are welcome to smoke outside but please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly.
